1439Becca sent this beautiful shot in, with a story to match – she said it was “taken in Jakarta, Indonesia, where I am now living with that same host family from Germany”. She wrote: “About a year ago, I was feeling very frustrated with my life. I was bored, lost and confused.

"I decided to move to Germany to spend a year working as a Nanny, just for a change of pace. I think I was fooling myself, thinking that by running away, all the issues in my life would suddenly clear up.

“One day I had a breakdown, while sitting with my host mom and the kids I look after. My host mom was telling me that I was never focused, that my mind was always somewhere else. We got into a fight, and I completely lost it, and began crying, saying I had never felt like I was where I was meant to be.

“Immediately she realized that my seemingly careless behaviour was only caused by feelings of inadequacy. The kids must have noticed it too, because almost on queue, they both dropped their toys, walked over and hugged me. My host mom looked at me and said, ‘See? Everyone belongs somewhere.’”
