Our charming subject had a friend called Jamie, who had rather lost his way in life and had gone to India, as many do, to find himself. He was explaining it all to a man who was silently chiselling a large block of marble, listening to Jamie say how his life had gone off the rails.

Finally, the man gave this reply. This excellent tale made it back to England and to her ears, and she explains it more fully in her audio clip. Taken at the E4 Udderbelly event on the Southbank, London.
