“I decided to go travelling myself and I asked her what one piece of advice she would give me. She told me this.

”She said that people will always ask you: ‘Do you want to come here, do you want to go there, what do you want to do this weekend?’ And the easiest thing you can is ‘no’, but the best thing you can say is ‘yes’. It will just give you adventures that you never thought possible.

”I’ve always tried to keep that in my head the last couple of years. It’s been amazing.”
