2454“This is actually a sentence I’ve heard quite a few times in my life, but right now I remember one specific time,” says Francisco in his audio clip.

”I was working as a nurse in a critical care unit in London, in East London which is a very rough area. We used to have a lot of people coming with gunshots, stabbing and victims of crime.

”I remember one particular case of a very young boy. He came in very scared, victim of knife crime, he was probably part of a gang too. I remember putting the mask of oxygen on his face and he asked me this repeatedly.

”He didn’t die.”
