2452“This was told to me by my tutor, back in Slovakia when I was studying English and Ukrainian literature," says Ivana, who is one half of the team which runs the Nomad Is Beautiful travel blog.

”She was also my PhD tutor. The first time she told me this was after one exam that was hard but at the end it was pretty simple and she couldn’t believe that I chose a very simple question because everybody chose a difficult one.

”She repeated this always after I was successful in something. It’s a very powerful phrase for me because it just pushes me to work hard until the blood and sweat when I want to achieve something.

”Sometimes I know if I push too much it doesn’t work. And if it doesn’t work, then I pray. And then it works.”
