2418“So I had somebody very close to me who made a very bad decision,” Lisa says in her audio clip, which contains a little adult language.

”I was in a position where I could step in and try to make it better or I could just let him face the consequences of whatever that bad decision was.

”I was very conflicted, I didn’t know what to do. So I reached out to one of the most badass women I know, my high school Spanish teacher. I knew she would like say it real and be very straightforward about it.

”She told me this. I’m like: ‘What’s that?’ And she says: ‘F*ck it, Sh*t happens, Move On.’ She told me that if I really love that person I need to let them learn from their mistakes and move on and past that and that’s doing them a favour, rather than stepping in and trying to fix everything. That’s not going to teach them anything.

”I took that advice and it ended up working out for the best, so fishmo everyone.”
