802This is a really early SOTM, taken before the site actually went live. It was taken outside the residence of the Dalai Lama in McLeod Ganj, India. This American suggested it be taken next to the skip – the empty cartons inside it are a result of the free refreshment given out by Buddhist monks during His Holiness’ teachings in the temple courtyard.
