675Chloe White sent this in from Rochester NH, USA. Its one of the most powerful SOTM shots to date, a remarkable image and one I cant look at for too long.

She wrote: I was going through a tough time i eighth grade. I was the one everyone picked on. This girl; anytime she saw me would always tell me, 'You have no friends,' or 'Nobody likes you.' and I believed it.

"It\'s tragic -- and people are getting told things like this every day, particularly if they suffer from depression. Then it really hurts."

Michael

"That girl was really talking to herself."

Joanna

"She's a liar, which means you don't ever have to believe anything she says. One day you will be stronger than these words, if you hang on, and they will never hurt you again. "

Kathleen

"Don't let peoples words make you. That's your choice, and I'm sure you're pretty awesome. I agree with JJ's quote. "

Joe

"Chloe: I went through a period in my youth similar to yours. It hurt at the tiime, but I persevered. One day, your life will have more meaning than those that hurt you and your rewards will be great."

Steve

"I know telling you things will get better won't stop the hurt you are experiencing now. Know you are the better person and try to not let a bully's own insecurities change who you are."

alissa

"i know exactly how it feels to be told this... don't worry... things get better! and as ben jonson said in a previous comment, it's not the quantity, it's the quality!"

JJ

"Powerful. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection. (Buddha)"
