”She passed away, going on eight years. She always liked to give advice to everybody and helped a couple of generations. She was very dear to me, and in her passing continues to be dear every day.

”Her words mean that you should give equality, not be racist or classist and be with who you want, because you’re going to have to go through every day with them, and not divide by race or other means, as sometimes people do.”
