1093Iain Petrie submitted this SOTM from Hatfield, England. He wrote: “After being in Poland for 4 years, I was planning to come back to England to live. I had nowhere to stay so I asked an old friend if I could sleep on his floor for a few days, a week at most.

"He said that would be fine. Nearer the time it became clear that I wouldn't be able to get myself sorted in such a short time, so I had to warn him that I might be with him for much more than a week. This was his reply. I'm still not sure to this day which way he meant it...”
