2277“So I started at a new place, called Enemalta, and I was assigned to be a colleague to a person,” explains Davinia in her audio commentary.

”She ended up being my boss. I was a bit lost at the start, it was my first job experience, I didn’t know what I was doing. Maybe I did a lot of mistakes. She took care of me, but her method was quite tough. She would be blunt with her comments, getting me down to business.

”But I was not in the best place in my life, so I wasn’t handling it well. I ended up crying more than one time and didn’t want to work with her that much.

”But I persevered. She then moved into a part of her life where she needed emotional support, and she wanted someone to trust and she let down her boundaries with me. She found some solace in me.

”By the end of the two years she had grown quite proud of me, as I had asserted myself. We were hugging each other goodbye, and she told me this. Every time we meet knew people, she introduces me this way, as the person who she gave a backbone to and who softened her up.”
