2002Foreign Language Friday: “My friend Mia said ‘nothing’s impossible’ to me in Swedish when we were kids. We were going to the same school and she started swimming and I was just about to start acting. I was really sick and she was going blind.

“Last year she won the Paralympics swimming contest and she again reminded me that nothing’s impossible.” The friend to which our subject refers to is Maja Reichard who took gold in the women's 100m breaststroke, achieving a world record while doing so.
